Meraklon is one of the main reference points for innovation in the polyolefin fiber world.

Considerable resources, in terms of people and investments, have been allocated in the Research and Development opening new applicative frontiers in different fiber sectors.

The development of processing and finishing technologies, in cooperation with main machine producers, has played also a key role.
Innovative solutions are covered by patents registered all over in the world.

The Research Centre is located in Terni. It is equipped with two pilot plants for the experimental production of staple and yarn developing new fiber types which, after approval in the market, will be scaled-up in the industrial plants.

There are laboratories equipped with the most advanced technologies for fibers and final items characterization.

The consolidate knowledge on raw materials allows to find more innovative solutions, Meraklon capitalizing on these factors, can answer quickly to market requests and can at the same time also anticipate its evolution.
