Meraklon has realized a new family of high softness fibres, that allows the production of woven and non-woven with unique delicacy.

This new fibre typology is recommended mostly for the feminine hygienic sector, in the production of both traditional and perforated non-wovens.

Thanks to its extreme softness, the fibre also can be used in the diaper sector for the productions of top-sheet and back-sheet with particular soft-hand.

The fibre is available in permanent hydrophilic version (2,2/40 ULTRASOFT W PH) and semi-hydrophobic (2,2/40 ULTRASOFT W). Also it can be ordered in the hydrophilic and hydrophobic standard version. The normal title is 2,2 dtex, but the fibre also can be produced by request with a 1,7 dtex title.
