The polyolefin fibers have replaced gradually the natural and synthetic fibers in several applications due to intrinsic properties and to a good cost/performance balance.

The low chemical affinity, the good abrasion resistance, the high hydrofoby, the low bondability temperature, the low specific gravity, the low thermal conductivity, are some of the properties for the continuous growth of polyolefin fibers in several applicative sectors.
